Well known, regional bank located near the South Bay is looking for a Controller. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will drive the enhancement of policies and procedures. Responsibilities for the Controller include ensuring efficient procedures and accounting systems, maintaining constant financial standing of the bank, and review and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. The Controller will also manage cash flow and financial reporting, play a key role in preparing fiscal budgets and forecasts, handle internal and external audits, as well as G/L management. The Controller will also manage regulatory reporting and all corporate and government filings.

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• At least eight years of corporate accounting experience, with at least 4 in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience with a bank and/or credit union is required.
• CPA is required.
• Must have strong systems skills.
• Must have a proven track record of mentoring, developing, and training staff members is essential.
• Pay, $150 - 185k.
